Cutting the material

Cutting the material to a predetermined size, a process called “Shearing”

The stainless steel flat sheet that forms the basis of the stainless steel container is either pre-purchased at a specific size orcut (sheared) to the necessary size in-house.
As the thickness, material, and size of the plate differ for each product,we confirm there are no mistakes in the work instruction sheetand cut it to the necessary dimensions using a specialized machine. We carefully work to prevent dimensional errors and to avoid scratching the surface.

Mainly used steel types
SUS304, SUS316L BA material, 2B material
How to select the correct stainless steel material

Main sizes of stainless steel sheets
Meter sheet… Sheet of 1000mm×2000mm.
Shihachi sheet… Sheet of 1219mm×2438mm. Because it’s 4 shaku × 8 shaku size, it’s called “Shihachi”.
Goto sheet… Sheet of 1524mm×3048mm. Because it’s 5 shaku × 10 shaku size, it’s called “Goto”.

Thickness of the flat sheet being used
t0.7mm~t2.0mm
Possible thickness of the sheet by the inner diameter of the container

Regulations for the thickness of stainless steel sheets
For example, when measuring the thickness of a t1.0mm (plate thickness of 1.0mm) sheet, it doesn’t exactly measure 1.0mm but has a slight variance. This is because JIS standards have determined tolerances (±), so even if the thickness is slightly thinner than 1.0mm, if it is within the specified range, it can still be said to have a thickness of 1.0mm. Therefore, the thickness can vary slightly depending on when the stainless steel sheet was made.
