This is the process of welding the body and the bottom of the container to form its shape.
The cylindrical body and the bottom part are carefully welded with a specialized machine to prevent any gaps or holes.
For custom-made items, the shape of the bottom differs for each item, so it is often hand-welded.
After welding, our original processing is applied to finish the product.
If there are parts to be welded and attached to the stainless container, such as fittings, they are manually welded at this stage.
Depending on the specifications of custom-made items, it is not uncommon to have 10 parts attached to a single container. Each part is hand-welded while checking the drawings to make sure the type of part, the position to attach it, and the order in which it is attached are correct.
Not only men, but women also play an active role in the welding process.
While welding work might be strongly associated with being a male job, the number of companies where women are performing welding has been increasing recently, as indicated by the term “welding girls”.
In our company too, everyone from young professionals to dedicated veteran craftsmen, regardless of gender, work together to produce high-quality stainless containers.
In order to deliver better products, we are focusing on efficiency improvements, including the 4S in the workspace, improvements, production of jigs, and review of work procedures.
