A valve dedicated to powdered grain that can automatically open and close valve by air pressure
○ This is a shutter valve that can be automatically opened and closed with empty pressure equipped with an air cylinder.
○ Active in the filling process of powder, granules, and raw materials.
○ The exterior parts have an all -stainless steel, and the scraper provided in the cylinder movable area has a structure to prevent water from entering the cylinder.
○ You can use it with confidence even if there is a possibility that water drops will be applied, such as a food manufacturing process.
○ The upper part is a rule connection, so it is easy to remove.
○ Since the lower part is a short tube with a protrusion, it is difficult to come out when a shot or the like is connected.

How Shutter Valves Work
A shutter valve is a valve that opens and closes by sliding a plate-like valve to a specific position. It is designed
for full-open or full-closed positions. When fully open, there are no obstacles in the flow, and the valve has the
same diameter as the drain outlet.
Automatic Opening and Closing with Air Cylinder
Shutter valves are operated by an air cylinder for automatic opening and closing. This reduces the effort required
for opening and closing and minimizes contamination risks associated with manual handling.
The opening and closing speed can be adjusted by controlling the air supply and adjusting the tightening torque of
the butterfly screw on the shutter valve. It can be closed rapidly or relatively slowly, depending on the
application.
In addition, it is possible to synchronize the opening and closing of the shutter valve with other equipment, such as
the LU-DT-ASC-K Bulk Weighing Unit. This enables process automation and
enhances efficiency.
Short Pipe Configuration for the Discharge Outlet
This product has a short pipe configuration for the discharge outlet. It features a protrusion at the end of the
short pipe to prevent detachment when connecting chutes or hoses (image shown does not include the air cylinder).
There are also models with a ferrule for the discharge outlet. These are recommended when directly connecting to a
separate container, and more information can be found here.
